The Next Big Thing & The First Solar Powered School in Zambia

Sioma High School in Zambia has gone solar. In the grand scheme of things, this may be a small step. However, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear, this is a glorious accomplishment. Here is what I see coming down the road.

  1. The developing world looks to the developed world (with America as one of the leaders) for lifestyle standards.
  2. Two billion people (from countries like China, India, Brazil, Russia and more) will be joining the world’s middle class over the next quarter century.
  3. There are not enough in-ground resources for everyone to live like Americans do now. Even if there were, there are a lot of environmental questions about the wisdom of continuing with our present consumption patterns.
  4. Enlightened approaches to living happier, healthier, and more rewarding lives are even now available to us.

In life, helping others is what means most. Period. End of story.
