Eternal Darwinism

For the sake of argument, let’s say you agree that:

  • Darwin had it right — survival of the fittest is where it’s at; and
  • You  are an eternal being engaged in brief mortal experience.

Now, ask yourself, “How would I want to describe my mortal objectives when I have my Pearly Gates interview and get my next assignment?”

  1. “I lived my life by one, single guiding principle — ‘He who dies with the most toys wins!'”
  2. “I tried to develop characteristics like patience, forgiveness, charity, love, and understanding.”

Which response positions you for a better assignment in the next realm?
